Location: Rotary Riverview Park

Registration Begins: 8:30 AM
Registration Ends: 1/2 hour after heats begin
Preliminary heats begin: 12:00 Noon
Semifinals and Finals for each boat class
follow the preliminary heats.
Awards presentation at the end of the Regatta!

~ Vogue Award ~
most spectacular or prettiest-looking boat

 ~ Pride of the Regatta ~
most creative design and best use of corrugated cardboard

~ Best- Dressed Team ~
The costumes may be funny, spiffy, or elegant...
but they must be creative!

~ Team Spirit Award ~
most-spirited and best-organized (?) team
... the looks of the boat don't count here!

~ Titanic Award ~
most spectacular sinking
... to qualify, you must salvage the remains completely.

~ Special Local Awards ~

Hole in One Award
Most artful depiction of the game
 

Fun and Games Award
Most humorous or ingenious depiction of fun and/or games

PLUS first, second, and third place for the fastest times in each boat class
... assuming we have 3 finishers in the class!

~ Boat Class Categories ~

Class I - Open Division
Boats must be made entirely of corrugated cardboard and
propelled by paddles, oars, etc.

Class I - Youth Division
Same as Class I -Open but limited to age 14 and under.

Class IA - Open and Youth Division
Boats constructed as kayaks, sculls, canoes, shells etc.

Class IB - Open and Youth Division
Other boat types.

Class II
Boats may be propelled by devices such as paddlewheels, propellers, sails, etc.

Class III
"Instant boatsć" are designed and built by spectators turned participants
using a "Secret kit" available only at the Regatta.
